Fantastic little heater.

The flame effect looks really good. The only issue is that the LED indicator showing that it is off is a BRIGHT red color. Not a deal breaker though as I have found a safe way to address it.

I bought this heater today. It's amazing. The heat output is good and the heater is beautiful. I don't have the stickers that other people complain about, and everything is fine. The flame effect is beautiful... Thanks to the company and Amazon for providing great products and services, so if you want to buy one, go ahead!

Beware, Dangerous FIRE HAZARD!

Not so great. Didn't like it, very loud and gives off a terrible smell. Significant toxic off gassing. Most importantly, this unit is a fire hazard. Unit DOES NOT turn off when tipped over. Again, it's a significant FIRE HAZARD!!!! On top of all this, the seller doesn't provide free shipping returns. UPS said it would cost me $58 for return shipping from the midwest to California, so it looks like I'm stuck with this dangerous product. I don't even want to donate it to Goodwill because it presents a such a fire hazard. What a waste of nearly $90.00

Adorable

Without a fireplace in a smallish apartment and desperate for the feel of one, I bought the "walnut" (metal box) one after hesitating too long and the birch was sold out. It's adorable. The room it's in is over 400 sq. ft. and you wouldn't want it for your sole source of heat. But, the little flames look good and I get my fire fix. I love grabbing the remote and "building a fire."

Over all a nice little heater

I've only used this heater a few times. It is a nice size and can be easily taken from one place to another. It has a nice glow to it and puts out quite a bit of heat. When I first turned it on, it had a rather bad chemical smell, but the manufacturer warned about this. I put it on my porch and let it run for a couple of hours. That seemed to do the trick, because I don't notice the smell any more. It does have some noise, kind of like a fan in the summer, but I don't mind it. I like the fact that it doesn't take up much space and is very portable.

Compact, sturdy, and easy to use anywhere

This heater replaced a much larger "fireplace" heater. I was looking for something compact, sturdy, that would not tip over like the plastic towers, and had easy to see/use controls. I like the metal casing and the heat is just as good as the fireplace heater. I can place it anywhere I need a little extra heat on a cold winter's night and it takes up so little room. The flame effect is just a bonus.

Excellent Seller (tangkula), heater - not so much much

Unfortunately, I recieved a very noisy heater. I am hearing impaired, and so if something makes an annoying sound I *can* hear, it dominates my soundscape, and then the noise drowns out stuff I struggle to hear (like the tv, or conversation). I reached out to the seller about this issue, and recieved a prompt response. The seller Tangkula was very eager to work out a solution that was fair to both parties, so I am very impressed with their customer service, and would not hesitate to buy another product from them again. This little heater/fireplace is aesthetically beautiful, seems well made with quality parts, so I have to assume this one got missed by the quality control department in the factory. I cannot blame the seller for this, and can only praise them for their courteous and professional communications, and for being accountable in standing behind what they sell. If I could rate the product and the seller separately, the seller would get 5 stars, the heater only 2. The heater's build quality and aesthetic appearance are both excellent, but the noise this one makes is just unacceptably loud and annoying. The seller has indicated that they will be contacting the factory to resolve this problem in future units.

Good product and customer service e

The only question I had after receiving my heater was that it did NOT turn on the heat immediately after starting the unit. It actually required me to put the temperature up several notches before the heat kicked on. I wrote to the seller, wondering why this was. They were very responsive answering questions, and even offered to refund my money if the heater was not working right. I actually have used it in my travel trailer and it does work well once I kick up the temperature a few notches above the current room temperature. I was impressed with the seller's persistence in trying to resolve the problem [which didn't end up being a problem] and answer questions! Other than that initial confusion on my part, the product performs very well!

I wouldn't buy this again

I have this for my work office at home. It is a small bedroom in the basement. It heats the room just fine it's good for that purpose. But I really hate about it is that it sounds like I am parked next to a diesel truck a stoplight constantly. It is so absolutely obnoxious I almost don't want to use it except I don't want to freeze to death.

Wonderful heater!

First, it was delivered faster than Amazon said it would. Second, it is perfect! We are using it for in our RV trailer so we don't burn through propane. The flame effect is very well done and a nice size for a small area like an rv. Even on low, it puts out a lot of heat. Will probably just always use low heat setting. Some say that the fan keeps going even with just 3d flame effect. Not true. When the heat goes off due to thermostat, the fan does keep going for 1 1/2 minutes. But then the fan turns off. If you set the thermostat so there is no heat you can have the flame effect with no fan. Now, there is a slight buzz type sound with just the flame effect but it's not bad at all. When the fan is blowing, you can of course hear it (not nearly like the RV heater fan!). But it's not bad and actually kind of soothing. The remote works great (can even use from across the room).

Good quality, solid controls and the fireplace effect is awesome. Looks great in my movie room.

I wanted a small heater for my girl when watching movies. Therefore, I found this one, and I really liked the fireplace effect, and it has good specs too and had to give this one a try. I was not dissapointed, this one really puts out the heat. And the fireplace effect looks so real too. Love the digital temp and it works perfectly too when upping the heating and keeping it there too. Hard to show the effect with just pics, so I did a short video to show how nice this one really is. No cons, solid heater, where I am very happy with the purchase.

Not adequate heat output

The heater is adorable, unfortunately it does not put out enough heat for an extended period of time. At first the heat feels fine but after about 10 minutes it shuts off, even when I adjust it up to 80?
