Was packaged with care, all attachment pieces were there plus 1 extra in each baggie, directions were visual and written, each part labeled with a number on it, shelves were flawless, went together very easily, very sturdy, finish is lovely, AND the price was very easy on my check book ! I love everything about my new bookshelf. The color, the double doors at the bottom and the legs are black which add flair to it.

Nice looking bookshelf for a good price.

I needed something that I could use for linens and this was the perfect size & price. It was pretty easy to assemble and looks has a nice texture/stain to it.

Easy assembly, nice look, priced right.

Wife put this together in about 45 mins. Super easy to assemble. Goes together like an IKEA product. Not solid wood. MDF covered in a imitation textured plastic, Looks nice though. If you saw this piece in a furniture store and it was real wood it would cost around 5 to 6 hundred dollars. Very happy with this purchase.

Putting this together was pretty easy for two people. It looks very nice. The only thing we don't like it the plastic piece that holds the two backing pieces together is not the same color as the wood so it sticks out and kind of ruins the aesthetic of the piece.

Flimsy

Not sturdy enough and that white strip that hold the two back boards together sticks out like a sore thumb.

Legs don't level but great looking cabinet.

Item looks great once together. Matched perfectly. I did, despite trying so hard not to, manage to flip-flop the too and bottom the first time, but I was able to correct it easy enough. I got a white strip to hold the back panels together so it stands out big time, not a fan of that. The area with the doors isn't very deep (have to account for the doors closing). That half an inch for the doors made it where what I wanted to put in there wouldn't fit. (Should have red dims better). Also, the legs do not have and adjusted in then so if your floor is not level it will wobble. I have a very old house and had to put under one leg. Overall though, it's a great cabinet and I am making it work. I would buy again.

The instructions are crap. Its made from artificial wood or compacted sawdust. It isnt sturdy. But it looks ok. I would say that its overpriced but I shopped around and it seems to be the going rate for bookshelves of this quality. Assembling this was pretty annoying. The back panel is like a piece of cardboard. I dont know why actual wood is so expensive.

Sleek and compact to fit our mcm decor in a small office

We had previously purchased a low profile and long tv cabinet and wanted a matching bookcase for media and to display decorations. This bookcase has such a close color pattern match and the legs were longer to offset the furniture so it was not at the exact same level at the bottom of each piece. The mdf is as advertised with a laminate type coating that gives it a texture feel and to withstand nicks or scratching. So much better than paper or plastic coated mdf.

It took a couple hours to assemble in between online work. Did it all by myself. Make sure you lay a blanket or place on a table to help not scratch it up and you knees. I changed the door knobs. Still need to paint them.

LOVE this piece...but WHY the white strip??

Awesome little piece and really easy to assemble. It looks just like the photo. Unfortunately I didn't pay much attention in the listing photo of the white strip in the middle of the backing (holds two backing pieces together). It sticks out like a sore thumb and totally doesn't match the overall look. Would be so easy to have the strip be a color that matched the color of the rest of the shelves, not sure why white was chosen. I'll do my best to disguise that part...I love the rest of it!
