Read the fine print on all of your purchases
The light is actually ok, just not the exact style I needed/wanted. We are bathroom remodeling (down to studs). I had ordered two different vanity lights and decided on the other one. I could see that it was a better product, once it arrived. My disappointment was in assuming that this light was fully returnable. But apparently this Chinese based country will only accept full returns if the product is defective. I wanted to post this review because everyone needs to read the fine print on some of these companies. They will say 100% guaranteed, but we need to be aware of what they are actually providing. And I am NOT SAYING, that ALL CHINA BASED sellers are this way. But I have been using Amazon for way too many years now (almost no returns ever) and this has happened to me three times now. Apparently I am a slow learner. Full disclosure, they did provide a courtesy refund of $10 to keep the light. If I had insisted on returning it, I was to be charged a restocking fee.
