fits my living room

Bought in the right size and height too. It took my husband and I about half an hour to install it. Pretty much what I expected. The price is not expensive either.

There were few complaints I saw regarding

There were few complaints I saw regarding difficult assembly but I think these people should not even attempt self assembly. I am physically crippled as a result of an accident where my both wrists were shattered and I have very limited movement of my wrists and and fingers as well as loss of feel in most fingers. With my condition I have assembled the stand in 3 to max 4 hours. All predrilled holes and all parts were done with very high precision that would not be expected from wood furniture manufacturing place.

Some screws where to short

I like the tv stand didn't like that some screws where to short and part number 12 was broke

Not what I expected

This is a piece of crap, first off let me tell you. I realize it's manufactured wood, that isn't the problem. It is beautiful, however. Either the screw holes are too big or the peg holes are too small. And don't get me started on the instructions which would be fine if the pictures were more defined and matched every line and screw hole on the board. If I had not bought from a third-party seller who was in California, I would return it in a freakin heart beat

I was not able to put it together correctly

It is a nice looking piece of furniture, but I could not put it together correctly. In all fairness, I do not work in this type of field and it is at least partly my fault. But some of the snap connectors would not function and the furniture fell apart after about three weeks. Once again, partly my fault because I put too much weight in the shelves. It is nice looking and functionally workable, but I would not recommend that a novice try to put it together him or herself. Get professionals to put it together.

I love the look, and in process of spray painting my Hugh clock, which looks great with it. Very sturdy and price was great. Easy to put together, especially since I am a senior and never had to do anything like this before. Make sure you follow directions and with pegs, I put wood glue for stability. Be careful with first 3 pieces, and if had to do again, I would have waited till next day to dry on those pieces, since my shelf came apart, and damaged. VERY IMPORTANT to turn your pieces as directions are showing, since could put together incorrectly. NEED lots of room, since a lot of pieces. I am very happy ?? with results, and stability.
