Really impressed with the quality and it was pretty easy to put together!

After we put the entire thing together we found that one of the short pieces (G) was not completely laminated one whole edge is raw particle and a bit of an eye sore. It was not because we put it together incorrectly because, by design, both sides of this bookshelf have a finished look if the person chooses to use it as a room divider. Does it do the job it was intended for? Yes. But I see it every time I look at it and it bugs the crap out of me. So, minus some stars for poor construction and poor quality checks.

Instructions were easy to follow. Predrilled holes were lined up, as they should be. All parts were included. It looks great and happy about my choice.

Sturdy and looks great

This looks great in my library room. Very sturdy and holds heavy cookbooks easily. My husband had some trouble with the assembly as he did it by himself while I was away. He recommends two people. I have plants on the upper shelves , cookbooks in the middle shelves and and added some storage boxes on the lower shelves. Great organizer with style!

This is the best book shelf for all my photo albums. Its white, wipes easily and just looks great with albums. It is obviously holding a lot of weight and its not swaying. Its very sturdy.

Good shelf

I'm mechanically inclined and found the setup slightly confusing. I was still able to put it together by myself but I think I didn't get it completely correct as the instructions were imperfect. Was able to modify it to add a backer board out of scrap linoleum. We use it as a stairwell for cats plus an odor blocker for the litterbox on one side and decorative bookshelf and cat bed zone on the other side. The cats love it and it works well for that while being highly decorative too. Very heavy. Would buy again. Advice: plan to open the box outside and haul the bits one by one, as individual boards are kind of heavy which means the shelf as a whole is quite heavy.

These shelve are so nice for the price but the safety string that comes with it is unusable. They are just wobbly enough due to the design itself that it would really help stabilize even if you are just using this as a shelf in a home with out kids. If you have kids get one kit maybe two just to be extra safe. Since it looks oh so fun to climb.

It's PERFECT!

Looks great in my classroom. It's the perfect size I was looking for. As for assembly, I can only imagine it was easy as I had a person put it together for me. Very sturdy, very strong. I can't complain. I was definitely nervous spending the money on something I wasn't sure about but I'm so happy with the end result. Would definitely order another one.
